Advocacy & storytelling are tools that can be used to make stakeholders aware of an issue and to call on them to take action. 165 CHEWs were trained in Lira District using the CHW advocacy training course which aims at equipping CHWs with the skills to have their voices heard.

Engaging CHWs in identifying and assessing the nutrition status of children under 5 as well as managing malnutrition cases at community level is key in achieving SDG 2 i.e. End hunger, achieve food security & improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.

Achieving UHC means access to quality essential health-care services, access to safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines & vaccines for all. This can be achieved through #Professionalization of CHWs i.e Training, Equipping & Remuneration of CHWs @MinofHealthUG
