Every week, Teamsters approve first contracts that positively transform lives. Teamsters at Northeast Beverage in Orange, Conn., have overwhelmingly ratified their first contract. The 33 drivers voted for Teamsters representation with Local 443 in September 2025. The five-year agreement includes a 30 percent wage increase, improved paid time off, and Teamsters health care and pension benefits.

Members of Teamsters Local 471 at AMPI Dairy in Paynesville, Minnesota, have overwhelmingly ratified their first union contract after being forced to go on strike to secure fair wages, benefits, and job protections. The three-year agreement includes a 14% wage increase over the life of the contract, retroactive pay going back to March 2025 when the bargaining unit was certified, coverage under Teamsters health care, and strong successorship language ensuring that workers’ jobs and union rights are protected if the facility is sold or ownership changes. “After years without protections or a voice on the job, this Teamsters contract changes everything,” said Heidi Barg, an 18-year lab technician at AMPI Dairy. "With fair pay, health care, and strong job protections, we finally have the security to plan for our future. We stood together, didn’t back down, and won.”

More than 500 drivers and warehouse workers at Genesis Logistics, a wholly owned subsidiary of DHL, have voted overwhelmingly to ratify their first Teamsters contract. The group in Stafford, Va., jointly represented by Teamsters Local 322 and Local 639, secured higher wages, expanded paid time off, and improved working conditions. Last year, drivers at the company’s Stafford facility voted by a 90 percent margin to join the Teamsters. That campaign helped build momentum in the warehouse, where workers overwhelmingly supported union representation. Genesis Logistics management ultimately agreed to voluntarily recognize Local 639 through a card-check agreement. “Winning our first Teamsters contract is a promise of stability, dignity, and a future built alongside our sisters and brothers,” said Matthew Relford, a driver at Genesis Logistics and member of Local 322. “Our agreement means fair wages, real benefits, and the strength that comes from sticking together. As Teamsters, we are able to build something greater than ourselves.”

The new agreement secures key workplace gains, including wage floor minimums and yearly wage increases, yearly bonuses, protected benefits, an enforceable promotions framework, specialty pay improvements, staffing and subcontracting protections, preserved work from home policies, locked in leave allowances, stronger crediting practices, and protections related to scanned likeness and artificial intelligence. The Petaluma studio plays an important role in motion capture production for major 2K and Take-Two titles, and the workers’ successful contract campaign adds to growing momentum for unionization across the video game industry. IATSE announced the group’s union win in November 2024 after a National Labor Relations Board-supervised election.
