@Devourlick I’ve never seen a PSU like that before.. are the ports faced that way for easier cable access?

@LastFPS I picked up one of these. Figure I can just use it in my next system

RIP my custom gaming PC. It lasted a good 6 years under heavy load. It’s been upgraded a few times since this pic (and better cable management). Either the PSU or mobo is fried. Planning a new system anyway. The gpu alone is worth a pretty penny still.

@Devourlick Good call on replacing the PSU, still a great system. Mine is nearly the same except I have a 3080. 9700k is a beast!

@LastFPS Turns out it was just the PSU. Getting a new one to give the system a bit more life until I can build a new one.

Did you know that you can search your iPhone for food (or any other object that’s describable)? This was made possible with image captioning tech, which is closely related to text to image models. This came up during conversation so I thought that I would share it. You can search for written notes also! I know that some of you really hate AI, but it’s subtly helping us in ambient ways. You can’t very easily see how useful these technologies can be until you develop and play with them. #smlai
