The Islamic regime has killed millions over the last 47 years, the Iranian people inside the country went to the streets knowing their government may kill them as they have done before. Instead of calling for assistance for the Iranian people, you have been advocating on behalf of a regime 90-95% Iranians do not want. Because of your stances, you have made it harder on the Iranians in the country to ever be safe.

When Iran’s messing with the Strait of Hormuz and countries like the Philippines are down to **45 days of fuel** with a national emergency declared, you don’t sit on your hands. $200B to protect global energy flows and deter bigger chaos isn’t waste — it’s basic national (and allied) security. Priorities matter, and right now securing oil lanes beats another domestic wishlist. Mario’s spot on calling this out.
