The surgical team praised the manoeuvrability and control of SENSEI® compared to conventional rigid laparoscopic gamma probes, particularly the autonomous probe control by the surgeon with the surgical robot.

First-in-woman study shows that SENSEI® is feasible and safe to use for sentinel lymph node detection in cervical cancer patients and highly rated by surgeons for usability in robotic surgery.

The team are pioneering radio-guided robotic surgery for prostate cancer in America, combining SENSEI® and the prostate-cancer-targeted imaging agent, Tc99m-PSMA, to intra-operatively find and remove cancer spread in pelvic lymph nodes.
