The current plan is for the #Seahawks to open the season on Wednesday, Sept. 9, rather than the traditional Thursday opener, per @JBFlint of @WSJ. The Rams–49ers game from Melbourne, Australia would then take place the next day on Thursday.

Terrible: The new “millionaire tax” in Washington state will cause players to NOT want to sign with the Seahawks, says GM John Schneider. The tax would impose an additional 9.9% tax on earnings over $1 million a year. This is truly unfair for the Seahawks 🤦♂️

The 1-year deals the 49ers are signing are great process for a few reasons:
- Creates a SB roster this year
- Prevents huge cap casualties down the line
- Allows flexibility to pivot to younger players
The 49ers offseason has been awesome so far, John Lynch has been sensational

Fast forward to now. I’m shocked that the 49ers, coming off a 13-win season fresh off a roster reset, literally did the opposite 😂

Mike Evans is not delusional.
It's funny how hard it is for some to accept simple facts. The 49ers strong-armed Seattle when they had most (not even all) of their guys. This is not something that's up for debate.
Evans plays the position where SF was weakest, even in that game
