@sucurisecurity My support ticket is desperate for attention. 9 hours since the SSL first should have been issued. 7 hours since I was told "We will have more information for you shortly." Client site is down during peak fundraising moment with one week until major event.

@jeffr0 Logged into Twitter for first time in months and saw this. Much of it is evergreen. Much of it is outdated. Not too much is explicitly wrong, though the content needs a huge overhaul. No FSE mentions. Some no-longer-recommended plugins.
English

@PatrickBoehner @carolinapoena I never check Twitter any more but just saw this. I can confirm Simplified Editor doesn't have any options, but it does have a filter for almost everything it turns off. So one could build a settings page for it with a different plugin if they wanted, but I don't plan to.

@sucurisecurity I have a site with some type of SSL bug that's been down for 36+ hours and I haven't received a support response in 22 hours since I was told "We will have more information for you shortly." This is very out of character for the service I normally get. Please help

@AndrewRocco Is this the best place to report Hexnaw bugs? Seems like the site doesn't properly report AA results and also 404s when using the "share" URLs (e.g. hexnaw.com/hex/777/666/00…)

@TheEventsCal FYI: I just moved this to a Github repository and cleaned some stuff up. github.com/mrwweb/the-eve… Could I get a copy of the email you shared? I'd love to see it :)
English

@TheEventsCal Sure! If you have any feedback before then, I'm still making some tweaks and LOVE feedback.

Just made a ton of changes to my @TheEventsCalendar reset gist. Now is reassigns TEC custom properties to equivalent WP core custom properties (configurable in theme.json) so that the designs are much more likely to match your theme out of the box.

@magicroundabout Hey, Ross! Funny you should mention that ... I installed the Turbo Admin plugin for the first time this morning and it's not working for me in Firefox. Added my console error to a recent support thread that sounded the same wordpress.org/support/topic/…
English

@jeffr0 @TheEventsCal Hahahahahahaha. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah. I have a bit of a reputation over there… 🤣
English

@aurooba I like this and do this it should be an option (ideally user preference?)

How do we feel about an icons approach for QuickPost (as an alternative option the plugin could offer)? #WordPress

And while we're here..here are the icons I'm debating as alternatives for the "add" and "duplicate" items (with of course the option for folks to keep the text version if they so wish). Still pondering though. These icons are from the core #WordPress icon library.

This upcoming feature (that I'm tweeting about as I create) is inspired by the many times I've heard @briancoords complain about how hard it is to get to the frontend of a post from the #WordPress Block Editor.

At #23NTC @evan_greer warned of the pitfalls of “tech solutionism” (tech solutions to structural problems.) This is a stark example: mental health services access is critical, but the answer will not come from for-profit companies that exploit vulnerable users.
English

@aurooba It's really interesting wondering how that happened. There's a story there for sure
English

@MRWweb I think it's nuts that it needs to put every single word in a span as soon as you add any formatting. I wonder why.
