All this hate for evangelicals when, statistically, we are the only bloc consistently holding it down for biblical marriage, the pro-life cause, secure borders, and every other issue. We are by far the most conservative and united in every political, cultural, and moral area. This is not statistically contested. Without the strength and cohesion of this group, conservatives lose everything. Consequently, the country loses everything. Not an exaggeration. So ask yourself: why would someone want to divide, destroy, and demoralize this stalwart group? The answer is obvious if the person is progressive, but it becomes a bit murky when the people targeting this group are on the “right,” right? Something to ponder

As a Catholic, I find it abhorrent that the President of the United States would publicly attack the Successor of St. Peter. Donald Trump is flailing. His war in Iran has led to the death and injury of American servicemembers and the death of Iranian children. He will attack anyone or anything to try to protect himself, even the Church that millions of Americans find faith and comfort in every day. The American people deserve a president who understands the consequences of his words and takes responsibility for his actions.

Father then proceeded to explain, per soon-to-be-Blessed Fulton Sheen, that communism is not the way. Giving of ourselves, personal generosity, sharing economic wealth voluntarily with our brothers in Christ, and detachment from material goods are what Jesus calls us to do as His followers. It was exactly the clarity the faithful needed. A refreshing and encouraging reminder that the newest generation of Catholic priests are ultra trad, conservative, theologically sound, and unafraid to preach what might be culturally unpopular.
