Honestly had no idea people disliked Man on Fire (released OTD in 2004). I get it: the editing’s frenetic and Tony Scott shoots every scene like it's a car chase, but a 39% RT rating is nuts. It’s one of the most Denzel Denzel movies ever. What am I missing?

I’m very happy the White Sox have the #1 pick in the draft. But I think it’s unfair to expect Roch Cholowsky (or whoever they take) to single-handedly turn this franchise around. They are going to have to spend money on good players soon or this is never going to work.

@savemeishbia I disagree, if/when this rebuild fails Getz will be the face of it. His infatuation with players who remind him of himself is just crazy.

One thing people don’t talk about enough is the amount of pressure on Colson Montgomery he’s 23 and is already the face of the franchise for the White Sox. If this rebuild fails the media, and sox fans will point at him as the reason why. He’s the cover guy of the whole thing.
