Germany 🇩🇪: A 20-year-old German girl has been sent to prison for “hateful comments” against 9 immigrants convicted of gang-raping a 14-year-old German girl. Her crime? Calling them “pigs, rapists, without honor.” Even though semen from all 9 was found on the child, only 1 of the rapists ended up in prison. The story ends with the girl who wrote against the rapists receiving a harsher punishment than the rapists themselves.

She is Shakila Ghasemi, Abducted from the her home by regime rapists. She may have already abused to death. If she were "Palestinian," she’d be on every front page. But she’s just an innocent Iranian - so no one cares. Perhaps this girl's issue was not fitting into the propaganda of the Jihadis.

I see that the sectarian Muslim MPs, the Green Party & pro-Palestine activists are all up in arms over Israel’s death penalty for Palestinian convicted terrorists. When Iran executed the 19-year-old champion, Saleh Mohammadi for protesting the Khamenei regime, they were silent.

This is what happens when one of the following goes to no. 10: An Israeli official. = Mass protests. President Trump. = Mass protests. Syrian President Ahmed al‑Sharaa, a man who led Al-Qaeda, anti-Christian pogroms and killed hundreds of thousands of civilians. = No protests.

So if Reeves’s claim that Brexit cost us 8% of GDP is correct it would mean we’d have grown four times more than Japan/Germany and almost twice France/Italy. Up there with Canada/US. If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you. In reality, even with Brexit, we were fastest growing European economy in G7. Just a tad more than France (with no Frexit).

There used to be a time when I would sit down and explain to Joy Reid why comparing the situation of women in America to women in Iran, and even implying women have it better in Iran, is an insult to Iranian women and a bald-faced lie. But after the latest verified report of two nurses who were tortured and raped by regime security forces for the “crime” of treating wounded protesters, raped so brutally with foreign objects that one had to have her uterus removed and both now live with colostomy bags, I’m done explaining. For Joy Reid and every idiot pushing that lie, I have only two words and I would like to ask you to deliver it to her: FUCK YOU.

Remember Zahra Ghanbari, the captain and all-time top scorer of Iran’s women’s national football team who sought asylum in Australia last week? 🇮🇷🇦🇺 Iran International revealed today that Iranian security forces, including the Revolutionary Guards’ intelligence unit, have since threatened her mother in Iran to pressure her. The report also says a team staff member, Zahra Soltan Moshkeh-Kar, relayed threatening messages from Iran’s football federation to players who sought asylum, while another player was pressured to return after receiving emotional voice messages from family members in Iran. The Iranian regime is threatening the families of players who dared to escape. Innocent relatives are targeted without mercy. Tehran’s cruelty has no limits. Its government terrorizes citizens and holds them hostage to maintain control. And still, Western figures like Greta Thunberg and Francesca Albanese cheer for the regime in Iran, because their hatred for Israel is ten times greater than their concern for human rights.

A Lebanese national rammed his explosive-filled car into a Synagogue with 140 children inside. The media attempted to justify it by saying that his two brothers had been killed by Israel. The media was then forced to admit that the two brothers were Hezbollah terrorists.

Yip. Almost none necessary. And none demanded by Britain. But all insisted on by EU because it wanted to inflict a punishment beating on the UK. Yet in other FTAs it has agreed on mutual recognition of standards. Not UK. Wonder why.
Simon Medhurst@simonmedhurst

@afneil One problem caused by Brexit is non-tariff barriers (eg mandatory customs declarations, carnets, rules of origin certifications, and sanitary/phytosanitary inspections for agri-food, no mutual recognition of professional qualifications etc). This makes GB-EU trade more difficult.

Did you see the viral video of Swiss commentator Stefan Renna accusing Israeli bobsledder Adam Edelman of supporting “genocide in Gaza” during live broadcast coverage of his race? Let’s slow this down. This isn’t just about one rogue sports commentator. It isn’t just about Switzerland. Or bobsled. Or television. We’ve seen this pattern before. Graham Norton openly joked during Eurovision that he was glad Israel didn’t win. A British broadcaster using prime-time commentary to express relief that the world’s only Jewish state lost. Now a sports commentator using an Olympic broadcast to accuse an individual Israeli athlete of genocide while he’s literally competing. Notice the shift. The accusation isn’t directed at a government. It isn’t aimed at a policy. It isn’t even framed as political debate. It’s attached to a person. An Israeli. On a sports field. That’s the normalization stage. When public platforms start treating Israelis – and by extension Jews – not as individuals, but as moral stand-ins for alleged collective crimes. History doesn’t begin with uniforms and marching. It begins with narratives. With language. With repetition. With “of course they support that.” With smirks. With commentary that would be unthinkable if applied to any other nationality or group. In 1930s Europe, the groundwork wasn’t laid by camps. It was laid by constant insinuation. By portraying Jews as uniquely malignant. Collectively guilty. Morally contaminated. No – this is not 1938. But this is what the early stages of dehumanization look like: • Collective blame • Public shaming • Cultural normalization • The idea that exclusion or hostility is justified When commentators feel comfortable injecting moral condemnation of Jewish athletes into sports coverage, something deeper has shifted. And if people shrug and say, “It’s just a comment,” that’s part of the process too. Because the dangerous moments in history rarely announce themselves loudly at first. They seep in. They normalize. They spread. And then everyone later says, “How did this happen?”

Britain took on fifty nations. African kings. Arab sultans. Bombarded ports. Deposed rulers who refused. Lost 1,600 men. Spent 40% of the entire Treasury. A debt so big it wasn't paid off until 2015. You or your parents were still paying for it. Not for land. Not for gold. To end the slave trade. They captured 1,600 ships. Freed 150,000 people. Patrolled 3,000 miles of coastline for sixty years. And none of it was the government's idea. It was 400,000 ordinary people who signed petitions and 300,000 families who refused to buy sugar. They forced Parliament's hand. Your ancestors changed the world and nobody told you. If you think this should be taught in schools, help us reach more people: proudofus.co.uk/support Be part of us Be Proud Of Us 🇬🇧

Politicians and city officials keep blaming the violence at Free Palestine protests on crowd size, excusing vandalized Jewish businesses, hateful slogans, and blatant antisemitism as an inevitable byproduct of large demonstrations. But this weekend, 350,000 Iranians gathered in Toronto, 250,000 in Munich, and thousands in London, Melbourne, Athens and Tokyo to condemn the Iranian regime and its mass slaughter. And guess what? Not a single shop window was smashed. Not one act of violence. Police officers were even given flowers to thank them for protecting the demonstrators. Many patrol cars were covered with letters and bouquets. So no, the problem was never the number of people. It was the people themselves.
