realistically what's wrong with "oc hoarding" ?? i see ppl on toyhouse refuse to give ocs to people because they either have "too many" ocs or they aren't using their ocs properly (whatever that means). if they're obtained fairly & proper credit is given then i don't see an issue

Do not trust artists who say drawing for yourself isn't important.

I think the art community needs to stop looking down on younger artists just entering the sphere who are inevitably interested in attention and numbers in exchange for their art. This is the reality we live in now, and no numbers = no connections = no networking = no jobs.

I wish big artists actually gave useful advices instead of saying “just draw for yourself bro” over and over again😞 Like, why they never tell people that they should post almost everyday? Why don’t they tell people how to utilize trends and how to make your OCs presentable?
