As a Leafs fan who covers the Blackhawks this Frondell and Knies talk makes no sense 😭 Frondell is obviously great and Chicago wouldn’t move him plus the Leafs need a top pair Dman. I have no idea where this discussion started but it’s outrageous. #LeafsForever #Blackhawks

Immediate reaction: "WTF is Toronto doing" After evaluating though and sitting with it, it's a fine trade. Hildeby & AK both waiting for an NHL chance & Stolarz is better than Woll. I see this as essentially Woll for Ersson & a 3rd, and Benoit for Andrae. Two fine deals.

@thatssoleafy77 I’m not going to lie I was definitely a bit reactionary lol. I’m not big supporter of the NHL Dman needs to be at least 6’0 to succeed crowd but 5’9 is pretty small. There will be other deals on the blue line before the end of the offseason so maybe it makes more sense later.

@thatssoleafy77 I agree with that I just don’t get the Andrae pickup. Ersson will be a Marlie so I don’t care. They needed puck movers and maybe I end up being wrong but I feel like they lost this deal.
