Because of the fact the current way I’m treating my ligament and joint issues wouldn’t change if I had a diagnosis (PT and braces n what not) but I’m curious if anyone has anymore insight or anything into reasons why a diagnosis would be a good idea treatment wise?

Does anyone know if there is a real benefit to getting an EDS diagnosis? Talked with one of my orthopedic surgeons today about it as someone with diagnosed hyper mobility syndrome and we right now agree while there a large chance I have it, a diagnosis wouldn’t really help me 1/2

Been doing some work with a exotic animal rescue near me and wanted to share this pretty girl I got to build a new aviary for (kinda small because she unfortunately cannot fly) Also slowly learning how to tube feed chickens!!! It’s been such an incredible experience!

I feel like a better solution for this would be if anyone has any recommendations for a streaming service that’s a bit more ethical that has a lot of small production studio pieces in it so if anyone knows any good ones please share them under this comment!!!

I had to get an MRI with contrast today and I have HORRIBLE veins (this was my second try they couldn’t mind a vein last time) and the finally found one in my wrist and dude… it has been 7 hours since the IV got removed and IT STILL IS SO SORE

Ive had a lot of people assume that the meds give us a way out, not have to struggle at all, that they prevent that entirely but they don't. They just turn it from being a daily unfightable battle, to less common and something I can fight if I want to. 2/2

One of the things a lot of people don't understand about ADHD medication is that it isn't magic. I can't just suddenly focus and do work lol. It just makes me behave like a "normal" person, normal people also have struggle days. Meaning even with meds I can have bad days. 1/2

I want to put more time into content projects rn but this month has been filled with studying, treating sick animals, taking new medications that give me worse chronic fatigue, and doctors appointments lmfao 😭 I should be a lot more free in like 2 weeks though 🙏

Just so I don't accidentally scare people btw I am ok rn my doctor gave me free samples of the medication that'll last me a month while I get the insurance thing figured out so I'm doing ok!!! I am insanely lucky to have such an incredible doctor that's fighting this with me!

Literally insane to me how I got diagnosed with a severe life threatening illness, and my insurance is just like "yeah but it still isn't bad enough for us to cover the medication needed to treat it" WHAT DO YOU MEAN DUDE THE NEXT STEP IF IT GETS WORSE IS ORGAN TRANSPLANT
