@ahvei_seinao @schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS yeah the issue is this matchmaking is only going to make it worse because the soloquers are only ever going to get a match with casual players because usually good players dont want to queue the game alone

I peaked diamond long ago but most games, if I get a kill that's a win for me. I get one good game with like 8 kills and suddenly get preds in my lobby...

Respawn: Based on our data, we decided its a good idea if the good players got to play the game less and we made them suffer for being good at the game by wasting their time. This is great for player retention :D

@ahvei_seinao @schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS nah, its mostly likely gonna be plat 1 and above because of them implementing dropships but respawn dont see skill in rank they use hidden mmr ratings to determine skill its why ranked was so cooked in earlier seasons having silvers match preds

@DoseDirty Diamond 4 is pretty normal to be mixed with masters and preds, it was normal before respawn started trying to make master accessible for casuals

@MeowFPS My Q times were noticeably longer yesterday. Just a simple diamond 4 player waiting 8 minutes to die to a 3 stack pred team every other game, not fun.

This isn't Overwatch or Marvel Rivals. • The matchmaking has been half assed. • Adding extra pressure to strong 3 stacks by adding ability upgrades, etc Pubs have been a 💩 show for years. That's a big reason the game lost players. Sincerely, Day 1 player (2019)

@estebanjudoka this is the point, someone like you who is a casual will still be put on someone like mes team who plays the game very often and grinds and its gonna be even worse

@MeowFPS for me the issue is not the time on q, its the skill distribution, im a casual player and get constantly set on lobbys way out of my skill

Looking at the replies to this tweet makes me realise apex players deserve for the game to get worse, how are you defending a billion dollar company making shit choices?

@ahvei_seinao @schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS But what they did now is just ensure that better players are going to get crunched down on by the EOMM even harder than before and have to wait longer for their matches its a worse experience for no reason other than retention

@ahvei_seinao @schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS yes but the issue is this doesn't work thats the whole point of this argument, their matchmaking doesnt work and has never worked. It bases it off your last 10 matches or so and compares its predatory if it thinks you're about to get off it gives you an easy win

@ahvei_seinao @schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS I'm not a content creator brother and I soloq 90% of the time I play, and I do farm preds all day my disdain is for the people that are on my team 90% of the time that are casuals. If the matchmaking like is good why dont I ever get anyone I dont have to carry to a win?

@yes__lad @schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS yes, bot royale exists this should be normal for casuals until they're around gold in skill but currently the matchmaking will still toss new players into high level lobbies so the changes they're making aren't even working and making our queue times longer

@AceFoxxii ah we noticed it even on EU 5 minutes for a wildcard game of 30 ppl and the same for pubs when we're at peak players is just crazy

@MeowFPS It’s a terrible idea, I live in Aus so the servers are already limited and can takes ages to get games from being Q skipped so this is just going to ruin it. I see drones getting games instantly and it just pisses me off that I get punished. You die and go again, it’s not deep

@schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS why not let both happen, if you're incapable of seeing how a non competitive quickplay match creates a good environment for both sides please just don't speak, casuals aren't going to come play a game if they can't even see a game at its peak skill

@schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS the casuals have the opportunity to get better, the games been out over half a decade at least now if you're still struggling to take a fight then you shouldnt have an opinion on a games matchmaking in the first place there should be sbmm for new players but not for the old

@schorts94 @Exot1c_FPS its quickplay, no one cares if you want to have competitive integrity go play ranked, quickplay is for quick play it's in the name good players like modes to wind down and have fun too they shouldn't be punished to waste time because they're better than casuals
