Oil demand probably hit a secular peak last year and, thanks to #EVs, now is in secular “decline”. Though ARK has no formal forecast, I believe that #Oilprices are on their way back to $12, the level reached after the 1973 oil cartel crisis, or lower, now that EVs are taking off.

BEL FY-25 results -> P/B ~ 0.62x at closing price today. Disappointing ops perf, but strong CF reported (though trade cred ⬆️ vs stocks & debtors ⬇️ -> fishy !).
Trailing PE ~ 9.3x & neg-low growth -> P/B not enticing, given implied much higher PE required.

@Ruanpotgieter56 @talkcentss We have the excess return number, and if we assume SD of 3-5% we can infer that the funds 1Y Sharpe is around 1.6 with the Alsi at >3.1. Push it back to 3Y and again its 0.6 vs 0.9. Fund would only dominate on a 7 year horizon and beyond.
