Anyway I agree that Sony has a problem with meddling and that it led to them making dogshit, but again, they have a good track record with Spider-Verse stuff. Sure, things could possibly change in the future, but they haven't yet

@Bizarnage I agree as long as the symbiote still gets the name from the bond and basically adopts it as its own, not like in SPUMC where Venom is just its name before it even meets Eddie for some reason

Knull strike me down for thinking this, but the more I’m looking into this naming video it’s like. We call the bond Venom, we call Eddie by himself Venom when he’s recognized by other characters, so like why can’t we do the same for the symbiote? Tradition?

@Carl_Nwakakwa @JamalCrip69304 @dottz45 @DynamoSuperX Which is a valid possibility and I agree it exists. But Spider-Verse has shown us that Sony is still capable of making truly great projects, especially when these people are attached, so we should be open to that possibility as well

And I don't expect Lord and Miller to work their whole careers at Sony as I'm sure they would want to move on from Spider-Man and make other stuff, like Project Hail Mary

Once Beyond the Spider-Verse hits next year, that's it. Thats the final Spider-Verse movie. Sony can't go back to that franchise unless they want to potentially ruin a good thing like they always have.

I wanna address this topic by saying: it makes complete sense why he called Tony “Mr. Stark” considering that was his mentor and it was a sign of respect. Not to mention he was a teenager.
Peter does NOT respect Frank. Why would he? He’s an infamous vigilante who kills people.

In the mcu Tony already knew his real identity and it was established Peter was a kid

my problem isn't with the montage cameo costume specifically, but more with the general attitude that accuracy or good design don't matter from an adaptation
