Take a 102-year-old man from his home in Canada and you risk never seeing him alive again. That’s the MAID reality families fear. @OPP_News show up in Tillsonburg with a court order. Son: “Not opening the door. Break it if you have a warrant. It’s under appeal.” The father is clear: he’ll die where he chooses. He sounds clear and rational to me. The dispute? Sister wants the farm. Father wants to stay. She alleges dementia, son says he is clear and rational. Police are caught in the middle. But enforcing a Thursday night order on Good Friday with no time for legal response is dirty pool. In the end the officers leave because they are not going to kick down the door and the son knows it. The son also says he doesn't trust the police or the courts. These days, I don't blame him at all.

ICMI is releasing a paper today that marks an initial attempt to estimate the sheer scale of the representations of Christian moral reasoning in the sources widely used by frontier labs as pretraining corpora. We find that it is far larger than has been generally acknowledged.

Once again, we see that the Christian Girlboss™️ definition of submission completely misses the mark:
~only comes into play when there's a disagreement
~even if I choose to "go your way," I'm still going to bring it up occasionally (I’m going to nag you about it)
~anytime that I decide you're being immoral or abusive, submission is completely off the table
Never once does she mention obedience. Most critically, a wife's submission is conditional on her husband's performance, while a husband's love is unconditional and nonnegotiable.

I really don’t understand @Altard_State. It’s supposed to be a Christian company—they play Christian music in the stores and sell all of this Christian-branded merchandise—and yet their clothes are as hoochie, if not hoochier, than anything I see at nonChristian retailers! It’s kind of the opposite of a good witness.
