A new blogpost has been released with tons of new and exciting information about @Hytale's character customization system! The blogpost contains: • Improvements made to the character customization system. • A new gradient mapping system. • Sneak-peaks of throwable items.

If you're a fan of Anime then you're going to love this latest blogpost! Check out some examples of some custom anime-inspired costumes that have been created as a personal project by art team member Stein.

Here are some of the colourful examples we were given in the latest blogpost about character customization.

Last but definitely not least, we were teased about one throwable object in particular that has been the source of lots of questions since it's unveiling back in January. Apparently, the last section of the blogpost was just an excuse to show this next clip...

Hytale's new physics system and immersive audio also help add depth and tactility to your actions. Check out the amazing physics achieved when throwing an item as simple as a rock.

Throwable items have been made to not only look realistic but to also sound realistic. Stereo panning can now be applied to sound effects on an item-by-item basis, making weapon swings more immersive by reflecting the directional movement of the weapon in the audio itself.

Have you ever dreamt about adding a more detailed gradient to your Hytale character? To you're delight, you're now able to do so with Hytale's new gradient mapping system. Check out the video below showcasing many of the colour alterations for your hair.
