Our final Global Storylines session was fantastic! P5C got into character to share their ideas, posters, and a video they made to end the racism in our story. What a super bunch they are! 👏🏻 🎭

P5C decided they wanted to change our cafe area into a cinema counter and everyone got straight to work! 🙌🏻 We had people rearranging furniture, making tickets, designing movie posters and even researching current cinema prices for the food menu. 🎟️🎥🍿

What an incredible day we have had for Global School Play Day!! P5C played many board games and built several dens. We used creativity, problem solving and imagination while we played and made sure we worked as a team. Most of all, we had fun!! 🙌🏻❤️ #GSPD2026 #PlayInverclyde

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Global School Play Day! We are celebrating the importance of play with other schools around the world. Children can bring their own toys tomorrow. Please see the letter below. @NewarkPrimary

In P5C, we’ve been designing and creating buildings to add to our display wall as part of our global storyline topic. There is a house for each family in Westport and some other very important buildings like a school, a hospital and of course a Tesco!

P5C have been planning out their wall display for our topic this term. We’ll post the finished product next week!

P5C’s day kicked off with coding skills in the ICT suite and ended with another fantastic drama visit for our Global Storylines topic. It’s going to be an exciting term!

P5C started using watercolours today to create the first layer of our mixed media artwork. 🎨🖌️

Great time had by all at the p5 party this afternoon. Children joined in and were so well behaved!
