Investigation of Employee Misconduct Incident On December 7, 2025, Binance’s internal audit department received a report alleging that a Binance employee had used insider information to post on official social media and improperly obtain personal gain. We immediately launched an investigation and are sharing the following preliminary findings with the community: 1. Preliminary Investigation Results We have verified the employee in question is related to a token that was issued on-chain at 05:29 UTC on December 7, and less than a minute later, used the text and images relating to the token in a tweet posted by the @BinanceFutures account. These actions constitute abuse of their position for personal gain and violate our policies and code of professional conduct. 2. Actions Taken Immediate Suspension: the employee was suspended immediately and is pending further disciplinary action. Legal Accountability: We have proactively contacted and will actively cooperate with the relevant authorities in the employee’s jurisdiction and take appropriate legal action in accordance with applicable laws. 3. Bounty Reward At Binance, we always uphold a user-first principle and are committed to transparency, fairness, and integrity. We have zero tolerance for any misconduct. We will continue strengthening internal controls, refining our policies, and ensuring incidents like this do not recur. We welcome continued community oversight and encourage anyone with valid information to report via our official channel (audit@binance.com). We have completed the verification and de-duplication process for the valid reports submitted via Binance’s official whistleblowing channel (audit@binance.com).
