@Starry_Duelist You give them so much life and passion it’s hard not to connect with them really, you have a very unique art style too with how you draw the female figure and the way you shape your faces

@smokelemxnz Its cool that you made it part of the dynamic with ur yumeship though! I’ve seen a couple other zero yumes and all of them were really cool but I haven’t really seen or heard of the incorporation of that aspect to give the relationship more spice

that view of him being unreachable is also something I try to portray a lot in my yumeslop. Just about yesterday, I've been working on a comic that portrays the dynamic i go for 🫡

I’m lowk guilty of this but I think it is a valid interpretation for the small period of time where Zero is post sigma forehead gem punching and is presumably a more greenhorn maverick hunter, that boy is two days old 😭😭

It bugs me when Zero is portrayed solely like he's the broody introverted one who is nothing but pragmatic, doesn't understand emotion and for lack of a better word- acts robotic. I feel it's not only a misunderstanding of Zero on a fundamental level but also his creator Dr. Wily

@smokelemxnz Im not super into yumeshipping and i once considered it with zero but more so as oc x canon shipping but I came to the same conclusion that zero is very selective with his group and he’s hard to befriend and I went "damn, how would I even write this in character"😭

@Moth_face25 Throughout the games he's shown to be more lighthearted about some things, since he's less serious in some portrayals. which i consider, and advance on the healing of that physiological trauma. And which is a part of why I dislike the Zero saga

@smokelemxnz As the most skilled hunters pre axl him and x we’re always most likely sent on seperate missions for efficiently sake, so even less time to talk especially after all the trauma and loss that every games ending brings, no time to "burden" those he loves when they might be hurting

@Moth_face25 I think, that just like X, he feels very strongly about many things. But doesn't know how to express those feelings because he doesn't have many people to share them with (just a very closed group)

@smokelemxnz Which is why that ending line with Weil is so good in mmz he ain’t a hero fighting for justice or a savior but instead of him saying that to bring himself down he says it to assert himself to give him the strength to finish this final battle

@Moth_face25 (perhaps bc hes not a person, but that's not the point), Zero doesn't feel like a saviour yet everyone treats him like one. which makes worse his approach to others in a way to protect himself

@smokelemxnz Imposter syndrome final boss 😭😭 he takes his duty very seriously even at the expense of his own mental state, if anything I think these high expectations come from his self loathing he feels the need to "makeup" for his sins

@Moth_face25 He also always has expectations on himself all the time, of being legendary, a hero, for wily, his greatest creation and the most powerful. Or the total opposite, being a failure, a ghost of what he's supposed to represent. But no one ever treats him like a normal person

@smokelemxnz YES YES YES I AGREE ONE MILION PERCENT WITH ALL OF THIS zero to me is one of those cats(and you can really see it in mmz) who picks like 5 special people he likes and no one else does, he’s not someone who becomes comfortable around others very easily

@Moth_face25 He has trust issues and Issues of feeling the burden of being the cause of the maverick virus, that's why hes so introverted and kept. But it is very obvious that hes not like that with the people he feels safe around with (ex. X, Alia, even Axl post X7). He's more relaxed

Lately I've been questioning why I even draw when I can't see the quality in my stuff, especially since there are people drawing the same stuff that do it way better.
But seeing people like Bliss Omega made me realize that at the very least I have interesting ideas to share.
