Wildlife belongs in the wild. Always. When intervention becomes necessary, the goal must never be permanent captivity. It must be return. This clip from Return to the Herd explains why Reteti’s model matters. For the full documentary: Link in thread #ReturnToTheHerd #WildlifeBelongsInTheWild

Pangolins have walked this planet for 80 million years and yet today all eight species are threatened, including all four species from Africa: - Black-bellied pangolin (Phataginus tetradactyla) - Cape pangolin, aka Temminck’s pangolin (Smutsia temminckii) - Giant ground pangolin (Smutsia gigantea) - White-bellied pangolin (Phataginus tricuspis). Pangolins are the most trafficked wild mammals in the world, targeted for their scales, which are used in traditional medicine despite having no proven health benefits, and for their meat. We believe that wildlife should never be treated as a commodity, and this World Pangolin Day, we are choosing to protect pangolins, starting with awareness. Share this post to help shift the narrative. #EndWildlifeTrade #WildlifeNotProfit #Pangolin

Wild animals are not commodities They are living beings with complex behaviors, families, and ecosystems that depend on them. When we allow wildlife to be bred and confined for profit, we move further away from real conservation. If wildlife truly matters to us, we must protect it where it belongs. In the wild. ✊🏾 Sign the petition and stand with animals today: 👉 bit.ly/4moUW5r

When we talk about ending factory farming, this is what we mean. We mean giving animals the basic freedom to be animals. A food system that suppresses natural behaviour is not efficient. It is cruel. It’s time for something better. ✊🏾 End factory farming. Choose a Just Transition. 👉🏾 Sign the petition: 🔗Link in thread

🐾 Wildlife belongs in the wild. Not bred. Not confined. Not sold. Commercial wildlife farming turns living, breathing animals into profit streams under the guise of conservation. But cruelty is not conservation. Kenya has the chance to lead with ethical, wildlife-friendly protection that puts animals first. ✍🏾 Add your voice and help end wildlife farming. 🔗Link in thread #BehindBars #EndWildlifeFarming #ProtectWildlife

🚫 Factory farming is failing animals, people, and the planet. Across Africa, we face a choice. To repeat harmful industrial models that drive cruelty, pollution, and inequality. Or to build food systems that respect animals, support farmers, and protect our future. This is not about going backwards. It’s about choosing better. ✊🏾 End factory farming. Choose a just food transition. 👉 Join us: 🔗Link in thread

Factory farming is not the future. It locks animals into suffering, pushes small-scale farmers aside, and strains our land, water, and climate. Africa needs food systems that work for people, respect animals, and build resilience for generations to come. That future is still possible but only if we choose it. ✍🏽 Add your voice and call for a just food transition: 🔗Link in thread

🖤 Pangolins are the most trafficked wild mammals in the world, yet most people never see one. Quiet, gentle, and harmless, pangolins are taken from the wild for profit, stripped of their scales, and pushed closer to extinction every day. They do not fight back. They curl up and wait. Their survival depends on stronger laws, real enforcement, and people choosing compassion over exploitation. Wildlife is not a commodity. Protection should never come too late. ✍️ Add your voice to the call to end wildlife exploitation and protect animals like pangolins: 👉 bit.ly/4moUW5r #ProtectPangolins #WildlifeNotProfit #EndWildlifeFarming #ProtectWildlife
