Today I learned that reading a poem six times with your 10th graders yields awesome results. They made me consider the poem in a way I haven't. Ever.

The annoying thing about being the teacher who allows late work, shows grace, is always polite, etc. is that students prioritize their other classes over yours b/c you're flexible😔

We are also concerned that students not be rushed back to in-person classes in order to expedite high-stakes testing and enforcing standards of accountability that would be based on learning acquired during a severely disrupted school year.
