Parliament has just passed the Cinematograph Bill, paving way for the establishment of the Botswana Film Commission.
The country will now have an enabler, regulator and promoter of film and video production. This is to develop value chains, enhancing skills and creating jobs within the creative sector.
I therefore thank all stakeholders and industry players who made it possible. 🙏🏽🇧🇼
