A birthday wish turned into a literacy celebration! 📖✨ In honor of FBISD Board Member Addie Heyliger’s birthday, Bhuchar Elementary hosted its fourth “Addie’s Book Day,” inspired by the children’s book Eloise in Paris. The campus transformed into a Parisian adventure as students, staff, and guests donned French berets and enjoyed themed activities that promoted a love of reading. Superintendent Dr. Smith, members of the district’s executive team, and community volunteers joined in by reading to students. Leading up to the event, FBISD families donated hundreds of books to support Shared Dreams and help build home libraries for students in need.
