In the next few weeks, crews plan to install a pipe to redirect runoff from the road and hillside that contributed to the sinkhole. The pipe installation is a temporary repair until County engineers can make more permanent repairs to the ditch line.

TRAFFIC ALERT: S.E. Woodard Road between the Historic Columbia River Highway and N.E. Seidl Road is now open. It closed on Tuesday due to a sinkhole in the road. Maintenance crews repaired and repaved the road.

Crews were able to temporarily repair the drainage ditch and separated pavement to bring the road to a drivable condition. The repaired section of the road has temporary gravel until a permanent repair of the drainage facilities and paving can take place at a later time.

TRAFFIC ALERT: N.W. Rocky Point Rd. between N.W. Skyline Boulevard and Highway 30 is now open. It closed in January due to erosion and road separation following snow, ice and wind that saturated the ground and weakened trees.

TRAFFIC ALERT: N.W. 53rd Drive between N.W. Thompson Road and N.W. Cornell Road is now open. The road closed Thursday due to a crash. Crews were able to make necessary repairs to the road in order to reopen it to traffic.

TRAFFIC ALERT: N.W. Logie Trail Road between N.W. Skyline Boulevard and Highway 30 is now open. It closed Jan. 31st due to a landslide. During the last two weeks, crews worked to clear landslide debris and fallen trees. They then stabilized the exposed bank.
