The Cousin lab are hiring!! We need someone to investigate presynaptic dysfunction in preclinical models of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Research will be focussed on the link between activity-dependent bulk endocytosis and monogenic neurodevelopmental disorders in vivo.

@tigerinstemm I found this document regarding maternity policy for research staff from the university of Oxford.admin.ox.ac.uk/personnel/duri…. Rather progressive, esp re. Period of paid maternity leave, and consideration given to maternity cover! This would have helped during first maternity leave!

So, let's talk about some other issues around grants and caring responsibilities... Have you ever found yourself spending Christmas juggling grant deadlines and caring/hospitality responsibilities? Have you had to respond to reviewers while on maternity leave?
