We flew from Miami to Rome, then took a connecting flight to Trieste (near Venice). From there, we continued by car through Slovenia and Croatia, passing the stunning Plitvice Lakes National Park all the way to the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina. We stayed overnight in Bihać ( Bosnia) and began exploring southern Bosnia and the Croatian Dalmatian coast.
