Oh wowie. Somehow I gained almost 3,000 followers overnight. Thank you! A quick introduction: I'm Howie, I mostly share math memes, math jokes, math explainer videos, mental math Mondays, math teaching tips, basically all things math.

@MrNunesteach I know a teacher who sends a postcard to all her students to arrive in the middle of break. She tells them she misses them and hopes they come back safe to her in January. Many of her students have said it arrived just when they needed it!

As we walked through Naha, we came across this stone gateway and mausoleum from the 1500s. It sits in a traffic corner without fanfare. Much of it and other monuments were destroyed in 1945 in the war.

Do you ever just want to hide from the crush of overdue things you are supposed to tackle? The guilt is overwhelming. I’m hiding in Twitter for a moment before I have to deal with things.

@MrsKFelix Ask the tour guide, assuming they are a student, about what types of people are happy there. This answer can supply a lot of helpful info!

For all of those parents that have done college tours, what are somethings we should be looking at or asking?

@BeckyKeene There is science for sure in planning, but the decisions a teacher makes responding to students in the classroom and providing appropriate feedback are an art. You get better with practice, but there is no recipe that always works. Constant creativity!
