@csschmitt1 I use McCusker, Money and Exchange, to convert to pounds, then Measuring Worth to get present-day values. It's approximate, but that's about the best one can do without making it its own research project: archive.org/details/moneye… and measuringworth.com

@DrJulieHardwick So I think she found the fetus, which was shriveled [antecedent of lequel must be the fetus I think], and SHE put it on a piece of tillot wood [could be tilleul?], and then brought to the people writing this
