Nanashi B, I love how its the perfect symbol of Akane’s carelessness, depression and insanity as she’s pretty much gone completely over trying to keep her world in her control against Gridman. Learning his fighting skills easily from over the show

Additionally, Nanashi B takes possibly some design refs from several ultra kaiju. Notably Satanbizor (Body design), Alien Metron (Color Scheme), Kemur Man (Speed and movement) and Greeza (behavior and combat style)

Meanwhile Nanashi A is designed to resemble a soft vinyl (sofubi) figure. It also has underneath the head of the "suit", above the line on the neck, are dots that are made to resemble eyeholes of older/cheaper tokusatsu suits.

Additonally, that laugh you're hearing? That's Reina Ueda laughing. It's meant to be symbolic of Akane's descent into madness and depression. Sinking all of her hate and anger into this kaiju in the hopes it'll finally kill Gridman. Her own "Zetton".

Additionally, while the laughing is a reference to Greeza, going further back to my memory, the earliest example of a "laughing" kaiju is the infamous Live King of #Ultraman Taro fame. There's numerous other examples but that's the one that comes to my mind.
