Thank you everyone who supported me on my pilgrimage to Canterbury over the last week - whether you joined me for some of the way, offered me a warm welcome, or prayed for me from afar. You don’t make journeys like this alone. You depend on the kindness and support of others, and it teaches you something about how we all need each other - and the joy and life there is in embracing that. The early Christians were known as “people of the way”. I think that’s still a good name for us today. We are pilgrim people, on a journey with God and with each other. Along the way I have also seen so many local churches doing what they always do: offering a space of welcome, support and community. They are beacons of God’s love and care for the people in that place. One area where pastors, counselors, doctors, and scripture all agree is that intrusive thoughts can be discarded, not just endured. Share this post if you, too, have struggled with intrusive thoughts and what to do with them.

Being called a Christian shouldn’t be something we claim when it’s convenient. It’s a name we carry with purpose, because it means we represent Jesus Himself. Before you say the name, live the name. If you desire to represent Jesus well, comment “Follower.”

King at 8 and leading revivals in his mid-20s? We know from pop culture that young celebrities often take a wayward path, but not Josiah. As he turned toward God and returned his kingdom to covenant with God, he changed history forever. Comment "CHANGED."
