The conversation about who's underrated naturally centers on players, but here's another: Rays broadcaster Brian Anderson is highly underrated. Clearly very prepared, takes viewers inside the game, succinct, direct, tells you exactly what's happening -- good and bad. He should get more attention.

Bob Mueller was one of the finest directors in the history of the FBI, transforming the bureau after 9/11 and saving countless lives. But it was his relentless commitment to the rule of law and his unwavering belief in our bedrock values that made him one of the most respected public servants of our time. Michelle and I send our condolences to Bob’s family, and everyone who knew and admired him.

This President enters war without the broad confidence of the American people and with a cabinet largely unqualified. He lacks the clear support of Congress or our allies, and lacks the unity of the nation he leads. We now pray for the safety of our troops and a swift end to conflict, as we likewise pray for a successful outcome from our operations - a more stable region and world, a reduced nuclear threat, and a fuller embrace of freedom abroad.

Folks, this election is no longer about policy - it's about our national identity, about who we are. The President depicting the Obamas as monkeys, a Florida gubernatorial candidate unleashing antisemitism and cheered for it, another peddling Islamophobia, ICE agents detaining a 5 year old in bunny ears and a Spiderman backpack, the whitewashing of credible allegations in the Epstein files of pedophilia and rape. All of it now routinely enabled and given equity in the public square. It's vile. We're holding a mirror up to ourselves right now. Forget about policy - this is about who we are as a people, and its terrifying what the answer most days seems to be. One of the fundamental tenets of our campaign for Florida Governor is that everyone's rights should be protected and their dignity celebrated - their dignity celebrated - regardless of the color of their skin, where they were born, who they love, or who they worship. Whether you believe in the teachings of a faith that declares we are all made in God's image or whether you embrace Jefferson's declaration of the natural rights of man, this is what we are litigating right now in America. We will never make America great again if we don't first make America good again. Please consider doing your part to make us good again. May we all commit to at least that this November.

President Obama and Michelle Obama served America with respect for all people, expanded affordable health care, honored our veterans and inspired us on in progress. The current occupant of the White House is not worthy to be our president. He’s the lowest of the low.

The @WashPost has now laid off its Asia editor, its New Delhi bureau chief, its Sydney bureau chief, its Cairo bureau chief, the entire Middle East reporting team, China correspondents, Iran correspondents, Turkey correspondents, and many more. The world is becoming less America-centric by the minute while the United States is becoming more America-centric than ever. It is just a depressing yet somehow perfect summation of our current moment that one of the most important newspapers in the history of the country - one that has actually shaped the history of the United States - doesn't think reporting on the world is of any use anymore. What an utterly perfect encapsulation of where we have arrived.

As we head into this weekend’s NHL Stadium Series there is one person that we have to thank for this & it is Jeff Vinik. He was relentless in his pursuit of this opportunity for Tampa. I witnessed it first hand & we are grateful to him. ⁦@TBLightning
