Racking my brain, other than Sporting Lisbon’s Estádio José Alvalade, is there another stadium which Arsenal are undefeated at having played at least 3 competitive games there?

@DarrenArsenal1 Think we’d be stupid to agree to this. Lesson from wolves is don’t stack the fixtures up until you have to. We might get knocked out the cups and have tonnes of time to focus on this at the end of the season.

Arsenal have won their last 7 FA Cup finals… and lost their last 7 finals in other cups…. Can Arteta do it this weekend? 1995 CWC ❌ 2000 UEFA ❌ 2002 FA ✅ 2003 FA ✅ 2005 FA ✅ 2006 CL ❌ 2007 LC ❌ 2011 LC ❌ 2014 FA ✅ 2015 FA ✅ 2017 FA ✅ 2018 LC ❌ 2019 EL ❌ 2020 FA ✅

@timstillman_ Side issue but when utd won it in 93 it was a huge thing that they had gone 26 years without a title - we have nearly matched it…. We’re four years past the wait for Anfield 89 and that was so long they wrote a book about it

At some point in the future, Manchester United will sort themselves out enough to make a title challenge and it will be, by their standards, a long time since they last won the league and nobody bar their own fans are going to want to see them break that duck. It was the same with Liverpool. That is simply how fandom works.

It's not complicated and it's got nothing to do with style of football, nobody wants to see big teams who haven't won anything in a while break their duck. It's standard fan stuff. Almost no champions or challengers are ever actually loved by the 'neutral' because there is no such thing as a 'neutral.' People don't mind City winning the league because it's very easy to compartmentalise and they don't have a big fanbase so people just don't encounter many City fans online and in day to day life. All this stuff about 'style' is utter nonsense.

"There is something about Arsenal that maybe rubs people up the wrong way" @Carra23 on why rivals fans may not want Arsenal to win the Premier League 🏆

@AFCFixtureNews Any idea if it says anywhere what blocks we’re getting upstairs? Is it just everything round to the half way line? Cheers 👍

@afc_richard Incredible that Semenyo is allowed to play in the first place. We should be writing to the FA about that

Regarding Pep’s comments on Marc Gheui and the Carabao Cup. What he is saying is that if you have enough money, you should be able to break established rules. This sense of entitlement is why they still think they did nothing wrong despite 115/130 charges suggesting otherwise

Loads of people yakking on about Wembley tickets today, very few about the rearranged Wolves away game. If you were concentrated on building your away credits, you wouldn’t have to worry about the final. You could’ve gone from 0 to 13 since the beginning of 2024-25.

@GoonerBlock @AngusMoorat @AFCFixtureNews The conspiracy theorist in me thinks its easy to manipulate any draw, especially that farcial league phase fixture list which can be pre-determined before the “live” draw. I can’t see any practical reason why whole thing cant be mapped today

Arsenal says "The draw to determine the play-off round matchups will take place on Friday at 11am UK time, when our potential pool of opponents will drop to two." But how? Does today's draw place us & Bayern into the blue and silver sides? @afc_richard @AFCFixtureNews

Since Arsenal last won the League Cup in 1993, they have reached the Semi Finals 10 times. They did not win ANY of the 10 away legs in those semi finals. 2024/25 Newcastle 2-0 Arsenal 2021/22 Liverpool 0-0 Arsenal 2017/18 Chelsea 0-0 Arsenal 2010/11 Ipswich 1-0 Arsenal 2007/08 Tottenham 5-1 Arsenal 2006/07 Tottenham 2-2 Arsenal 2005/06 Wigan 1-0 Arsenal 2003/04 Middlesbrough 2-1 Arsenal 1997/98 Chelsea 3-1 Arsenal 1995/96 Aston Villa 0-0 Arsenal

🗣️ "I experienced something really crazy (at) Fratton Park. "I was like, ‘I don’t understand’. They were, at the end of the game, singing my name. ‘But we just beat you. What are you doing?’" Arsenal face Portsmouth in the FA Cup today, 22 years on from one of their 'Invincibles' donning a Pompey shirt after a game at Fratton Park and being serenaded by home fans. Thierry Henry was inspired across two matches at the ground in 2004. @Dan_Sheldon_ spoke to some of his team-mates and opponents from those games about the brilliance they witnessed. 🔗 nytimes.com/athletic/69372…
