There's no reason pepper spray should be illegal. No one has ever used pepper spray to go on a killing spree. The fact that it's illegal to carry pepper spray in the UK suggests the purpose of their laws is to make it illegal to defend yourself. They want you to live in fear.

So let me get this straight... A potential juror reportedly said he didn't know if he could put "a brother" in jail simply because the defendant is Black. Then some people on social media got upset that he admitted it instead of keeping it to himself. Isn't the whole point of jury selection to identify bias? If someone says they can't be impartial because of race, I'd rather they say it out loud than sit on a jury pretending to be fair. Justice is supposed to be blind. Race shouldn't be a free pass, and it shouldn't be a conviction either. That's exactly why jurors are questioned before a trial begins.

This is peak insanity from our broken education system. Teacher fires off a “womp womp” to a 12-year-old crying in class because his girlfriend dumped him… and gets FIRED for it. Years later, the same school board that axed him wants him back for an assembly to APOLOGIZE for “not caring about students’ mental health.” Bro, the kid was 12. He’ll have a new “girlfriend” by lunch. This isn’t trauma—it’s life. We’ve turned schools into emotional safe spaces where minor setbacks are treated like catastrophes, teachers can’t speak basic truth, and actual education gets sacrificed on the altar of feelings. No wonder kids are more fragile, anxious, and unprepared than ever. Tough love is now a firing offense. We’re raising weak generations and wondering why everything’s collapsing. Enough. Period.🚨 In the Karmelo Anthony murder trial, multiple Black prospective jurors got dismissed after straight-up saying things like: “I’d have a hard time putting a brother in jail.” Others couldn’t imagine sending “a kid who looks like mine” to prison for the stabbing death of Austin Metcalf. That’s not “racism” — that’s basic jury rules. You swear to follow the evidence, not skin color or “solidarity.” The Constitution demands an impartial jury, not a racially stacked one. Prosecutors struck the final qualified Black prospects for race-neutral reasons (educators, etc.), and the judge upheld it. Result: 12 jurors, zero Black. Trial starts now. Truth bomb: Bias is bias. I can tell you all as law enforcement, when criminals know they can get away with doing a crime, they’ll do it over and over again. They’ll get bolder, they’ll start doing it out in the open, and they’ll stop caring who sees them. They know they’re going to get away with it anyway, so any threat of consequences becomes null. When you have a political party blatantly cheating in front of us in order to influence elections while nothing is being done about it, you have to start asking who’s complicit in it and why is nothing being done about it. It’s obvious, it’s apparent, and it’s criminal. I’m not going to expect any Democrat to vote for the SAVE Act, but any Republican who doesn’t needs to be primaried and moved out of office for someone who will. Stop the criminality.

@LoLoByke I agree. But if someone actually said “I could never find a brother guilty”, is there a fear of sitting on a jury that would likely convict him? He was either exceedingly honest or trying to get off that jury. I can see where backlash within their community might be a real fear.

I’m no lawyer so take this with a grain of salt. I did a deep dive on that Karmelo Anthony case last night and having zero black jurors is not sitting well w/ me. Since I’ve been old enough to understand the racial disparities in the justice system, this formula never ends well
