I wish even if the issue was raised on the korean side that NN would be able to address it to us first officially? Seeing everything blow up and having so much hate come towards the game than going first to cover officially in other regions gives a really sour taste in my mouth

The NA ER community is quite small but filled with passionate players who love the game myself included. I'm very sad because this will really make it harder for the game to grow in the west. I want to the game to get traction but not for unfortunate reasons like this.

The Korean Eternal Return community thinks they're doing us a favor, but in reality just lost one of the biggest opportunities for the west to grow, over a pun that wasn't even directed towards the game. Most of the people upset probably dont even use EN VA. Huge disappointment.

All of this for a small dedicated community. Why? Because we love this game a lot, many of us want this game to grow. Instead of trying to grow it, now they demonstrate a lack of communication, and essentially shift blame. It feels like they genuinely didn't check what happened

You know, it's just really sad. The EN community has some of the most passionate players. People who dedicate their time to coaching new players, or teaching specifics of their main. People who organize scrims and tournaments out of their free time, etc.

I am so fking disappointed that we lost an English VA for the new character over a fking "boar-ing" pun. I've supported Eternal Return for a long time, but its clear the Nimble Neuron doesn't care about its Western Audience at all.

Very disappointed in the Eternal Return VA situation. Nimble Neuron has never advertised in the west succesfully and this could have been really good opportunity to bring in a bigger audience. Espcially when Western regions did not get a say in something that primary concerns us.

@NotMintae This game is small in KR also as I stated before, which results in full die hard fans who are chronically online, and no casual player base. These guys will rather see their game burn over this nothingburger if they don't get their way, so they kinda have to respond :/ It sucks

Over 10+ seasons of little to no advertising, critical bugs and issues, no communication with the EN community. Then we somehow manage to damage the Eternal Return reputation in the west with this stuff. It's no wonder the EN servers are barely hanging on. I'm tired.

@wing2450_eric @SnipyOCE @NotMintae 저도 그 방송을 본 사람중에 하나란 걸 알아주세요. 당시 게임 인터페이스와 진행이 굉장히 난해했고, 그로 인해 금지구역 폭사 등 제대로 된 게임이 한동안 진행되지 않았죠..... 그런 상태에서 나타난 boaring이라는 글자가 예민하게 받아들여지는 것도 완전히 무리는 아니지 않을까요?
