To get oil and gasoline across the Strait of Hormuz safely, the President might have to (1) use convoys as the Royal Navy did across the Atlantic in WWI and WWII (a much wider distance for ship convoys), (2) arm tanker ships with surface to air missiles (SAMs) to shoot down drones, and (3) flood the Strait with Western submarines and naval ships to intercept and destroy Iranian missiles fired on tankers, and Iranian small boats filled with explosives. It's not impossible. Convoys and SONAR were developed to keep sea logistics routes open in both world wars. It can be done. Just don't expect to make a "peace deal" with terrorist states Russia or Iran. They won't want peace or a deal. Like the Nazis, these terrorist states' philosophy isn't hard to grasp: "Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein Führer". They want one leader, and that one leader ain't President Trump. I don't want to repeat this particularly, but by August 6, 1945 "America had won the war against Japan" on paper, although Japan hadn't surrendered. America behaved like a mad dog and Japan surrendered. In Vietnam, Nixon instead repeated the mistake of Chamberlain's September 30, 1938 Nazi peace deal, pulling out for a worthless Vietcong promise to stay out of Saigon and South Vietnam. Disaster! Terrorists are liars! War is not a chess game unless and until you have the power to force a victory, regardless of resistance. The terrorists have to either be wiped out, or at least forced to come begging to surrender, or you end up in costly statemate war which is no game but hell. You have to kill enemy propaganda in your own mass media, like Jesus said: "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?" - Jesus (Matthew 7:3). You can't fight a war abroad when you allow yourself to be stabbed in the back at home by your own media. Eventually we adopted the Convoy System and started to fight back against the terrorists. However, censorship doesn't stop U-boats.

Don't worry! When the UK is driven into becoming another bankrupt and corrupt Venezuela, Trump might step in as he did in Venezuela (never mind the squealing from "international law" bleating Marxists). Human decency prevails in the end, hopefully. In reality, the basic problem of a sustained deficit (i.e. ever growing total national debt, and thus increasing debt interest bill for government bonds), is not new. Increasing corporation tax to drive away corporations doesn't help! Nor does the doublethink Labour agenda of simply renaming borrowing as "investment"!

The only time I’ve seen Sadiq Khan in person he was walking down Gt Peter St in Westminster with four guards. Initially I could not see who was being guarded. His head was obscured by the guards’ shoulders. On a near empty street in the heart of Westminster and with the Home Office on it, he looked ludicrous and the guards superfluous. The only time I remember seeing Boris when he was mayor, he was on a bike, on his own, in Parliament Sq. Both are short men. But one of the two has stature. And it’s not Mayor Khan. So he has to make himself look big by hiring muscle at taxpayers’ expense.

Mary Magdalene, who initially mistook him for the gardener, saw Jesus after resurrection at the tomb (John 20:11-18). He also appeared to Simon (Luke 24:34), Cleopas and his friend on the road from Jerusalem to the Emmaus (Luke 24:13–35), Thomas who put his finger into the hole in Jesus' side (John 20:24–29), etc.

The Europeans made a critical mistake by ignoring Iran, and taking Trump’s bait by saying “Iran is not our war.” Europe is well within range of Iran’s missiles.
