2) Ogre Battle 64 - N64 Après le succès de Tactics Ogre, une bonne partie de la team est partie chez Square pour créer FF Tactics. Ceux qui sont restés ont créé Ogre Battle en exclue N64. Un jeu bon mais difficile. Grâce à sa D.A., un des jeux qui a les mieux vieillis de la N64.

Você conhece The Legend of Dragoon? Se você curtiu o combate de Expedition 33, tem uma grande chance de se surpreender aqui. Muito antes dessa onda de RPGs por turnos com interação em tempo real, Dragoon já fazia isso com os “Additions”, ataques que exigem timing perfeito pra manter combos e maximizar o dano. Não é só escolher no menu, você precisa executar. Claro, é um jogo mais antigo, mais “duro” em alguns aspectos… mas a sensação de acertar uma sequência perfeita ainda é extremamente satisfatória. No fim, jogar hoje é quase ver a origem de uma ideia que só agora voltou com força.

Breath of Fire III is one of the most beautiful JRPGs ever made. The sprites. The music. The Dragon Gene system. The fishing. The adventure. Some games get old. This one becomes part of you.

@PurpleBadgrHaze You should check it out. There are a lot of Wonder Boy titles but this one is my favorite

@games_rozz I need to get my Genesis out and let my 8yr old give it a shot. He's really digging Pokémon. Might be time to show him some more game types 🤔

@OgreBattleUnit It was, It kept surprising me with new areas and bosses- seemed "huge" back as a kid, might have to give it a replay through this weekend :)
