Visitors to @lgbtHERO's peer support form increased by 40% in lockdown, and they undertook analysis to understand how their lives had changed, with a really broad range of respondents. 79% reported a negative impact on their mental health in lockdown #OTGSP #WSPD2020

There's clearly a data gap on suicide - lower level data is needed so that communities can identify where help can be directed so it can be provided. Hoping for the best won't do enough. Thanks @IanHowley @lgbthero #OTGSP #WSPD2020

Wanting people to smile at Sean's memory, and to provide the community support that he couldn't find inspired @debbiemaloney13 to create @SeansPlace2, which opened in January 2020 and is helping 75 men every week. And it is run by volunteers. Amazing. #OTGSP #WSPD2020

Medication and therapy has a place, but there needs to be somewhere that people can open up and talk to someone. @debbiemaloney13 @seansplace2 has created a safe space and a platform for people to talk, and where families can get support. It is life changing. #OTGSP #WSPD2020
