Christmas preparations are well under way at Newport City Dogs Home but it's no fun spending Christmas in a kennel. So if you're a registered walker please try & pop down for an hour over the festive season & give a dog the gift of your time 🎄🎁🐩🐕🐾💙

We want to say a massive thank you to all our volunteers & supporters over the last 12 months. We couldn't do what we do without you. Tonight, 20 dogs at Newport City Dogs Home with only 16 kennels. It never ends. But we enter 2019 with more determination than ever to carry on.

Walked this sweetheart yesterday. His name is Bentley and he’s looking for his forever home. He’s a cross breed. He’s very friendly and walks well on the lead. Really hope this lovely boy can find a home soon 🐶 He’s at @OptToAdoptNCDH

This is Danny. A 5-month old pup who’s only happy when he’s sniffed everything (at least 3 times). Happy for cuddles when he’s satisfied he hasn’t missed anything. 10/10 people would wait patiently. #AdoptDontShop

Dogs all walked. Presents opened and mid-day treats dispensed. Now resting g in their kennels before the gravy is added to these and all 20 dogs will have Christmas dinner ☺️

All the veggies are now bought & being prepped. Pressies are wrapped & the walkers are ready to work up an appetite on Christmas Morning. 🎅🎄🎁🐩🐕💙
