I created a special game schedule for the Indonesian region, similar to the one I made last month, for the month of December. Keep in mind that there is a significant time difference between UTC and Indonesian time, which is about 8 hours. Let's grow with @SoundnessLabs

gSoundy Everyone!! One of the most interesting ideas discussed by @SoundnessLabs in the recent PQTS #7 call is this: Maybe the future of post-quantum security isn’t about replacing the entire crypto stack overnight but wrapping existing systems with a new protective layer. next

Legacy systems have been our cryptographic backbone for decades. One challenge in the PQ transition is finding approaches that integrate cleanly into the systems & flows already used today. That’s what @Mahdi_seda from @SoundnessLabs discussed at the PQTS #7 call last week. 🧵

Every quantum migration plan you have heard requires new addresses, a hard fork, or moving your assets somewhere else. Come find out more tomorrow at zkSummit14 in Rome. At 16:15 mainstage, @Mahdi_seda presents: “Proof of Seed: ZK-Based Quantum Migration Without Address Changes”
Zero Knowledge Podcast@zeroknowledgefm

zkSummit14 is happening in Rome on May 7th! Once again, we bring together the researchers, cryptographers, and builders in ZK for a day to catchup on the most cutting edge ideas in our space. We are about to sell out, so apply & get your ticket asap! zksummit.com

1/ Bitcoin's latest post-quantum migration proposal, BIP-361, would freeze quantum-vulnerable addresses once the sunset period starts. Freezing accounts is not ideal, but if you hold an HD wallet seed phrase, you'll still have a path to recover your funds after the freeze. Here's how 👇🏻

I used to think quantum computing was still far away. something that might only become a problem years from now. But after reading the latest article from EOS and Soundness Labs, my perspective completely changed. Quantum is no longer a distant threat; it’s getting closer, next..

@SoundnessLabs already has the ZK proof technology to prove wallet ownership, but for Bitcoin, the main challenge lies in how the network can natively verify that proof.

This is super interesting ... BIP-361 (Phase C): recover frozen legacy UTXOs via ZK proof of BIP-39 seed knowledge. As said in our previous posts this is the most practical solution. This is literally what we built for other chains with sub-second proving time, client-side. We have the most efficient construction for it at @SoundnessLabs. The missing piece for Bitcoin: where and how do you verify the proof? No smart conract, no native verifier, limited opcodes. That's the research frontier we're on right now, stay tuned ...

🚨 LATEST: Cypherpunk Jameson Lopp and co-authors propose BIP-361 to freeze quantum-vulnerable Bitcoin, including Satoshi's $74B stash, before quantum computers can steal them.
