Many of you following along with #LizzoAtLOC were surprised that the Library has a flute vault. We are the largest Library in the world & home to more than 173 million objects, so there are many more surprises like that in our collections. Enjoy this thread of just a few of them.

Took a book break from Greenglass House to read this realistic novel-in-verse about a brave girl’s journey to confront her bullies and love herself. (Novels-in-verse are great quick reads when your brain needs a break!)

@MrsRiddileReads @MauraLibrarian I also do the spreadsheet method. Once everything comes back, it’s very easy to split the screen and copy and paste the book barcodes.

Quick tips on easy ways to manage book checkout when the Internet is down? Post-it notes and scan the books later?
