It's been another busy week on the Pathways programme with our next Pathway 2 cohort at their residential earlier this week. We too are looking forward to your journey on the programme, the connections you will make and the learnings you will put into practice.

In our most recent blog post Nahida DeLeon, a Pathway 4 leader, openly shares how her own experience being adopted has shaped her values as a leader, in the social work profession.

Leaders now join the Frontline Fellowship where they can connect with social workers across the country.

This morning Pathway 2, cohort 1, had their last workshop. The session focused on their leadership journey and it was fantastic to hear all about the goals they set at the start of the programme and all they have achieved throughout.

With the group growing to over 50 leaders this is the perfect space to explore new ideas, challenges they are facing and connect outside of Pathway residentials. Below you can find highlights from last week's meeting - we look forward to the next one in July.

On Pathway 1 our wonderful practice supervisors have created a number of best practice and affinity groups, which is great to see! One of these groups is the best practice group for supporting and supervising, which meet up to discuss how best to support their students and ASYEs

As we continue to celebrate Pride, we take a look back at our recent Social Work Coffee Break, with Frontline fellow Kasey Thompson. For her dissertation, Kasey explored best practice for social workers when speaking to young people about their sexuality and gender.

Last week was such a great opportunity to bring together so many leaders from across the country. Not only were we in Sheffield for Pathway 4, but also Warwick for Pathway 3.

We are especially excited to have the wonderful Maria Takaendisa as our lead facilitator, already challenging leaders to think about the stories they tell and what they say about their values. We can't wait to hear the stories that will be told today!

Some wonderful energy in the room today at the launch of Pathway 3 Cohort 2 as we welcome over 90 aspirant and in-role heads of service and service managers in children’s social care from across the country to the Pathways programme!

We’ve heard great feedback from Pathway 3 leaders about their experiential visit at Wiltshire council. Massive thanks to @wiltscouncil for providing leaders with this opportunity.
