@rubrifolia_ I’ve started buying DVDs/bluray of things I watch currently or was into as a kid because of this!! As long as you have something to play them (a console, PC, etc) you can essentially watch wherever. Doesn’t matter how it’s preserved, whatever feels worth it is worth it

When I was a kid, before any streaming platform, my parents used to have an external hard-drive where they downloaded every show and film they wanted for the family through piracy. I can't believe that now I'm doing to same to preserve the media I love. Fuck you, N*tflix.
