Embiid amd Maxey will get the bulk of the credit, and rightfully so. But VJ Edgecombe putting up 23, 6 and 4 in 44 minutes in Game 7 on the road… not your typical rookie. Completely unfazed by the moment.

The Sixers won three playoff games in Boston from 1983 through Game 1 of this series. Then they won three in the span of 12 days.

As someone who has hated the Celtics since the Syracuse Nationals moved to Philadelphia, I find this game incredibly satisfying.

I saw an ad for this featuring the Rutles getting into one side of a limousine and out the other side and knew I had to watch it, so I did when it first aired on NBC. I didn't have a lot of company as it was the network's lowest-rated show that week. It's still a masterpiece.

They rarely schemed anyone open and when they got something going, the other team's defense adjusted and Petullo couldn't adjust back.

The Eagles offense was a disaster all season and it finally caught up with them. Yeah, the offensive line was banged up, but the biggest problems were the design of the passing game and Kevin Petullo's play calling.
