🧬 Biology students explored genetics by creating and decoding a "DNA recipe" for man's best friend! After pulling their DNA sequence at random, they drew their unique dogs and compared traits with classmates. What a fun way to see how DNA variations shape our traits! 🐶🐾

Last week in Pre-AP Biology, students used bubbles 🫧 to model cell membrane fluidity and selective permeability. Students added rubber bands to represent protein channels, allowing larger objects to pass through ➡️ their bubble! #Cultivate @PieperHS

Today at Comal U @cheyennenbarnes and I facilitated our first PD over Rubric Mastery! ✅ Participants learned the different types of rubrics, how rubrics provide feedback, and how to incorporate the Comal ISD Essential Skills Rubrics to support student growth!💚 #ComalU24
