A plumber just told me you are supposed to drain your water heater once a year to get the junk at the bottom out to extend the life of the heater. Does anybody actually do that?😳

@capexbt Yep, some of the most influential “influencers” in our space were shilling this. Zeneca being one of them.

Zcash was the biggest coordinated exit pump of this cycle and nobody is calling it what it was. - Delisted from Binance, OKX, Kraken and 20+ exchanges in 2023-2024 for “compliance” - Price bled to $30. Everyone declared it dead - Then suddenly every influencer on CT started shilling “privacy narrative” at the exact same time - 1,200% pump in 3 months. From $30 to $600 - OKX relisted it at the top. The same exchange that delisted it months earlier - Analysts were calling for $1,000+ while insiders were selling - The entire development team at Electric Coin Company resigned in January 2026 over internal conflicts - Now it’s bleeding back down and the same influencers who shilled it went silent They got exchanges to relist at the top. And used your buy orders as their exit.

Abstract needs to stop fighting farming and start making XP fun. I've been quiet about Abstract lately. But I still believe in the chain and want to see it win, so here are my thoughts on the recent drama. Abstract is dead set on designing the most egalitarian XP incentive system, which is noble. There's a belief that if they design the perfect system, they'll reward the most aligned users, those users won't dump, and $ABS wins. I know the team wasn't happy with how $PENGU performed - they gave it to everyone and everyone sold. Abstract's XP theory feels like a direct response to that. While I support the team wanting to get this right, they also need to accept the inherent outcome of any incentive campaign: People are going to farm it. That's just part of the process. Once you accept that, the play changes. Focus on building a campaign that's genuinely fun and engaging. Make it something people actually enjoy. Make communities happy, make streamers happy, use XP to celebrate the chain and the people who are here. Abstract has the culture. Now make the game worth playing. tut™

Since you guys keep QTing this post, I'll address some points here: - We made slight adjustments to the XP given to top NFT collections (by onchain activity, volume, market cap). We updated the calculation for many of the longtail collections because we received many reports of people mass holding super cheap NFTs to farm large amounts of XP. NFT projects that are no longer active were diluting the rewards for active NFT builders - this is not the behavior we want. - We will introduce a more dynamic system for NFT holdings designed to reward the most active collections starting next week. This system will adjust week by week and look at trading volume + onchain activity + overall ecosystem participation (ex. building interesting apps with your IP). - For memecoin holdings, we were basing the XP given based off of inflated trading volume and price data. A lot of this was done to soften the blow from the steep price decreases seen throughout crypto since October. We have since updated our internal values to be up to date which resulted in a decrease in memecoin XP. Starting next week, we will ramp up the XP given to memecoin teams actively building their IP and growing their holder base. - As communicated to our app builders previously, there will be an influx of XP given to teams creating onchain usecases, onboarding new users to Abstract, and building innovative mechanics. Several of these teams will be launching new apps and mechanics in the coming weeks. - We originally didn't want to change the calculation for holdings too much, which is why I tweeted the below tweet 3 weeks ago. However, after doing a deep dive into the XP distributed to inactive projects as well as going through the reports our community had flagged to us about XP abuse, we had to make changes to better reward those that are still active onchain participants in the ecosystem.

wtf is going on with abstract? • Luca isn’t involved? • Team ridiculing participants for holding NFTs • XP slashes across the board • Their biggest supporters getting frustrated • Apps leaving or cross chain implementation Seems like it’s imploding but idk, we need clarity

@KaisersolX @AbstractChain Really sucks considering Luca told the community NFT holders will be the focus. Abstract lost a lot of credibility as of late. It's hard to recover from that.

Really disappointed to hear about @AbstractChain decision to stop distributing XP to NFT holders. Given that NFTs had already bled out over the last 6 months, prices are tanking today, down about -30% across all collections. Personally, I’m holding what I have. Despite the XP cut, I still believe in collections like @bearish_af , @ppuffins , @hamieverse , and many others; I’m not selling a thing. Time will tell if I’m right or wrong, but at these levels, it’s way too low to exit. I’m operating on the principle that we’ve hit rock bottom and can only go up from here. This is my worst XP week in a long time, which makes sense since my whole strategy was built around holding NFTs, ending with only 6,748 XP

My take on @AbstractChain XP changes 👇 Abstract has no obligation to protect NFT floor prices. If the project is strong, the floor will recover naturally. XP being reduced/removed from NFTs changes the game no more easy farming. This is a clear shift from passive holding to real onchain activity and adoption. If you want rewards now, you actually need to use the ecosystem. This will filter out farmers and highlight real users who bring value. Adoption > farming. Utility > hype. 🚀

@waleswoosh Abstract sentiment is in the shitter. Apparently Luca isn’t involved anymore and the current team changes strategy weekly (pissing everyone off). Sentiment at an all time low.

I don’t like talking about Abstract XP and i usually just stick to my Tuesday celebration post, but today’s update deserves a few words. The team decided to significantly reduce XP rewards tied to community-held assets, a move that immediately had a visible effect: many started selling. Personally? I see it as a bold but right decision, those who sold today would have likely sold at TGE anyway, if anything, this update just brought forward dynamics that were already inevitable. Buying NFTs or spamming transactions just to accumulate XP has never really made sense to me. It’s an approach that, in the long run, strips the experience of its meaning. In fact, while 99% of the community was focused on “mechanical” strategies to farm XP on Moody, i preferred playing MoG, enjoying it, understanding the product, and also making money from it.

the @AbstractChain team's inability to align with their users will be studied for decades to come. "holding is the most EV+ thing you can do on Abstract - it means you support the chain." - @LucaNetz absolute clown show.

Here are my thoughts on the recent changes to XP distribution for NFTs on @AbstractChain : - Only strong products survive. @onchainheroes is a great example - now that XP no longer carries the same value, we can clearly see the real leaders. - @0xCygaar literally said around 20 days ago that there would be no changes regarding NFTs and assets. - As @abschud said, markets evolve - and I agree. Stagnation equals degradation. BUT changes like this shouldn’t happen within just a few weeks when nothing critical occurred. It could’ve been done more gradually, without such drastic swings. - It’s hard to understand how to trust updates from the team when one thing is said yesterday and something completely different happens today. If you position yourselves as a consumer chain, you should be more attentive to regular users. Most of you don’t have significant assets on your accounts, while for users, some of these changes are critical. I’m sharing real thoughts, not polished takes made just to fit a “GIGACHAD” role. I’m genuinely interested in being part of your network - that’s exactly why I voice concerns and want to see it continue to grow.✳️
