@KuroshiroX I keep gaslighting myself thinking if I just keep drawing I'll understand it eventually...it might be time for me to sit down and study

I am slow at drawing because I lack fundamentals. I try to learn things when I need them for my actual illustrations, spending too much time fixing parts I haven't completely understand (e.g. faces, folds). It's more guessing than knowing.

they don't tell you that like 50% of hours spent in making art is just you staring at what you just did and wondering if it's wack or not cos you lose all sensibility while lost in the sauce

@artsywak I realized that I spent a majority of my time with Sai's default circle and acrylic brush, until I got tired of drawing leaves and grasses with the circle brush because those are nigh impossible 😭

maturing as an artist is when you realize the default brushes in your drawing program are actually really awesome
