What's the benefit of having a good squad when you are not gonna use it. Arteta is rotating against Mansfield. We already had players who can play cup games last season. What about some in game substitutions like Norgaard for zubimendi, white for timber, myles for hincapie.

No incision through the middle at all. Wharton should be a major target in the summer. And honestly, Norgaard deserves a start ahead of Zubimendi on current form. Performances have to matter or there’s no real competition in the squad.

@Mo_Arsenal9 zubi and timber have been playing shit all for quite a long time and have not been substituted and I am quite sure they will not be in future as well.

The only postive for me today was Arteta subbing off Saka with that clear message: mess around and you'll find out. Being the highest-paid player doesn't give you a free pass to cruise through games. Arteta made the right call, and honestly, I didn't expect him to hook Saka that early in the second half. The team looked much sharper once Noni came on with his direct running. No chance Saka wins that penalty if he's still on the pitch. Noni Madueke should start against Everton. Saka needs to sort himself out before he gets another start.
