Our lunchtime roller skating club has been a wonderful addition to the school day! 🛼 It’s fantastic to see so many children building confidence, developing new skills, and most importantly, having fun with their friends.

It was fantastic to welcome so many of our EYFS & KS1 parents who came along to our lesson visits on Tuesday. The children were excited to share their learning, using their maths knowledge and skills including number bonds, fractions and comparing numbers. 🎉✨

More amazing World Book Day costumes from our pupils! 📚✨ It was great to see so many creative characters and a shared love of reading across the school — and a special appearance from our therapy dog, Coco! 🐾📖

📚 World Book Day at Princess May! Pupils enjoyed a free pop-up bookshop thanks to the @lonbookproject, where every child chose a book to take home. They also took part in Reading Buddies sessions with other year groups. Look at these fantastic World Book Day outfits! ✨

Huge thank you to Here East for hosting our World of Work Week! Our Y6 theme, Future Tech, inspired our pupils to design their own logos, create adverts, and pitch their ideas in front of real entrepreneurs! Thank you @InspireEBP @PrimaryMay

Last week we celebrated the Lunar New Year with traditional tales, food tasting, dragon dancing and pretending to be each of the animas from The Great Race!🐲🎉 @PrimaryMay

We ended the week with a special Chinese dance workshop to mark Chinese New Year. A lovely cultural experience that was thoroughly enjoyed by all.🏮✨

Year 3 kicked off World of Work Week with their Building Futures theme! 🏗️✨They visited the NLA London Centre, met industry professionals and designed their own ‘Dream Schools’. An inspiring experience for our future architects and designers! @InspireEBP

Huge thanks to @InspireEBP for launching our World of Work Week🌍✨This week, our pupils had the opportunity to explore a range of careers through exciting workshops, interactive sessions and educational visits.let’s see what each year group got up to! #WOW2026

In DT, Year 3 developed key construction skills by measuring, cutting, folding and joining card to design and build freestanding abstract 3D sculptures. Pupils tested ideas, solved problems and refined their structures as they worked.

Y5 spent DT this week building truss bridges out of spaghetti and masking tape, testing their designs to see which could hold the most weight 🏗️🍝

Y2 3D Art 🎨 They explored shaping clay by hand and practised some basic skills to help make a simple model. Lots of pressing, rolling and shaping, with some lovely creative ideas on show!

Our Year 5 pupils had a fantastic time at the National Gallery Museum. With sketch paper in hand ✏️, they moved around the galleries, sketching their favourite artworks and taking in all the inspiration the museum had to offer🖼️

Our Year 4 pupils had a fantastic visit to Tate Modern today! They explored the galleries, enjoyed creative activities, and soaked up incredible art. Huge thanks to the Tate team for an inspiring trip!

Investigation Time!🧑‍🔬 This week we were investigating materials with torches to spy for reflections! Then we got to labelling them shiny or dull!

“What’s inside a conker?” That’s what one of our learners asked this week and we had such a fun afternoon predicting, trialling, sawing, hammering and talking about it today! @PrimaryMay

Reception were amazing in their first ever school trip to our local park! We hunted for autumn treasures and even had time for a play in the park to celebrate their amazing progress over their first half term!🍁🍂
